CALM COLLECTION FOR FACT DESIGN

We are thrilled to introduce CALM COLLECTION for FACT Design, a series of acoustic ceiling and wall tiles based on scientific research of fractal patterns in nature, developed by recently founded ScienceDesignLab, a long-term collaboration with Prof. Richard Taylor. The modular tile system, features three different styles CLOUDS, WAVES and BRANCHES, utilizes fractals to tap into our innate affinity for nature and activate our bodies’ stress-relieving response to similar patterns. Prof. Richard Taylor elaborates on the effects of specific patterns that occur in nature, „one of the best pieces of news from our psychology research is that you do not need to be exposed to fractal patterns long to get positive effects and these patterns might help reduce your level of stress by up to 60 percent.“
