ACCREDITED CEU AT NEOCON 2022

Our firms are pioneering science-based biophilic design and its implementation into the built environment, which they accomplished in their recently completed Competence Center for MAM Innovation GmbH. The Center unifies INNOCAD architecture’s and 13&9 Design’s holistic and humanistic design approach not only in its exterior but also in its interior, focusing primarily on the human being with his or her psychological, physiological, cognitive, and social needs. We would like to thank NeoCon for including us in their exclusive Continuing Education Unit (CEU) program at this year’s event in Chicago.

The session called “Holistic Buildings: Translating Biophilic Design Strategies into the Built Environment” was held by Martin Lesjak together with Professor Dr. Richard Taylor from the University of Oregon and Fractals Research. In their presentation, they discussed the application of the above-mentioned principles as well research on why fractal patterns have stress reductive qualities and benefit our wellbeing.
