SCIENTIFIC PAPER “THE POTENTIAL OF BIOPHILIC FRACTAL DESIGNS TO PROMOTE HEALTH AND PERFORMANCE: A REVIEW OF EXPERIMENTS AND APPLICATIONS” IN JOURNAL OF SUSTAINABILITY
The scientific paper “The potential of biophilic fractal designs to promote health and performance: a review of experiments and applications” by Prof. Richard Taylor, partner of ScienceDesignLab founded by Anastasija Lesjak and Martin Lesjak, has been recently published in Journal of Sustainability by MDPI. It deals with fractal pattern applications and their ability to improve the built environment by generating not only aesthetic experiences but also trigger stress reduction mechanisms. Strategies for integrating fractal patterns into building designs like fractal solar panels, fractal window shades, and fractal floor patterns developed by ScienceDesignLab are further discussed.
