13&9`s CEOs at WANTEDDESIGN panel discussion with Metropolis Magazine

Anastasia Su, creative director and co-founder of the product design studio 13&9, and Martin Lesjak come together for the panel discussion, “Designing for Movement” which will be moderated by Susan S. Szenasy, Editor in Chief of Metropolis Magazine.  The program, as part of the WantedDesign lecture series, takes place on May 20, 2017 from 2 – 3 pm at the conference lounge at the Terminal Stores in Manhattan, New York City.

With health and wellness in mind, the designer’s role in fostering an active lifestyle becomes a new kind of challenge. And as the negative effects of sedentary work become ever-clearer, health-focused design — whether in the form of variable height work-surfaces, ergonomic furniture, or strategically located amenities — increasingly encourages movement as a means towards fitness.

Join us for a panel along with Randy Fiser, Chief Executive Officer, American Society of Interior Designers and Joseph White, Director of Workplace Strategy, Design, and Management of Herman Miller, to discuss how leading designers are designing for movement and how such strategies benefit healthy lifestyles.
