WEBINAR BY MIKE PETERSON WITH SCIENCE DESIGN LAB
On Thursday, 18. September, the founders of ScienceDesignLab, Prof. Richard Taylor from Fractals Research, Dr. Anastasija Lesjak from 13&9 Design and architect Martin Lesjak from INNOCAD architecture will join Mike Peterson at the Science in Design webinar to talk about “The Power of Fractals: Nature’s Design Blueprint for Well-Being.”
The webinar will include the most recent scientific research of the ScienceDesignLab regarding ‘Fractal Fluency’ and cover why designing with fractals needs to be approached with the scientific parameters and from architectural and spatial context.
Beyond Prof. Taylor’s scientific summary, Anastasija and Martin will present some of their recreantly realized projects, such as the FARCTAL CHAPEL, awarded with the IIDA the Best of Competition 2025 award, as well as recent product collaborations including the Renaturation Collection for Momentum Textiles and Wallcovering awarded at Neocon 2025 with the Innovation and the Business Impact Award as well as the Fractal Findings collection for Mohawk Group which was awarded a HiP Award in the category: Education/Government/Institutional Flooring.
