SHEDDA FAMILY WINS IF DESIGN AWARD 2026

We are excited to share that our SHEDDA family, designed for Wever & Ducré, has been honored with the iF Design Award 2026 – a recognition of the ideas, research, and collaboration behind the project.

SHEDDA explores light as a sculptural element – reduced, precise, and atmospheric. A streamlined form that creates soft, indirect light and a calm, balanced spatial experience.

With SHEDDA fractal, developed in collaboration with Prof. Richard Taylor from Fractals Research, this concept merges design with science. Based on fractal patterns found in nature, the luminaire projects an immersive mosaic of light and shadow into space. These patterns lie within our “visual comfort zone” and have been shown to reduce stress, enhance cognitive performance, and support well-being – bringing the calming effect of nature indoors.
