MOMENTUM’S SHOWROOM AT NEOCON 2025
We were delighted to be part of Momentum’s showroom at NeoCon 2025 with our collaboration, the Renaturation Collection, developed together with Prof. Richard Taylor from Fractals Research and the University of Oregon. Through the thoughtful placement of individual elements – such as branches and moss, between Fractal River, Fractal Moss, and the Fractal Bark Wallcovering, the showroom perfectly illustrated what the collection represents: bringing nature back into the built environment.
Renaturation – the concept of nature reclaiming manmade or developed spaces – employs natural fractal seeds to create a commercial design approach deeply grounded in science, aesthetics, and wellness. The resulting wallcovering collection transcends decoration, creating restorative environments with measurable benefits for occupants.
Jennifer Nye, Chief Marketing and Creative Officer at Momentum, states: “The collection took shape over three years – refining design, color, scale, and yes, D-factor. Designing with intention, our goal was to create something that gives back and supports wellbeing and comfort. The final collection is simply awe-inspiring – romantic, a bit radical in spirit, modern, and impactful. The work of 13&9 Design and Fractals Research answers the ‘why’ behind the powerful effect of biophilic design. We want to inspire others to carry this movement forward.”
We thank our partner, Momentum Textiles and Wallcovering, for this outstanding collaboration.
