FRACTAL CODE AT ACS LOGISTICS IN ASTEN
We are excited to see our FRACTAL CODE designed for XAL Group integrated into a new architectural project, bringing together acoustics, perception, and spatial quality.
For the new ACS Logistics headquarters in Asten, the large-scale acoustic wall panels were installed in meeting and office rooms. The system combines acoustic performance with a distinct visual language, contributing to a balanced and focused work environment.
The fractal patterns are based on long-term research in neuroscience and biophilic design and were developed in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Richard Taylor from Fractals Research and the University of Oregon. They are designed to support stress reduction, visual comfort, and cognitive clarity through naturally derived complexity.
As part of the interior concept, FRACTAL CODE functions both as an acoustic solution and as an architectural surface – showcasing how research-driven design can meaningfully shape real working environments.
Special thanks to the team at OFFORA for their design leadership and collaboration on this project. Based in Linz, OFFORA is a studio for interior architecture and workplace design that focuses on creating tailored office environments rooted in quality, functionality and user experience.
