CREATIVE VOICES: INTERVIEW WITH ANASTASIJA AND MARTIN LESJAK AT INTERIOR DESIGN MAGAZINE
The June 2025 issue of Interior Design Magazine, one of the most notable publications for the architecture and design community, features an interview with our leaders, Anastasija and Martin Lesjak. The magazine recognizes their multidisciplinary spirit, highlighting how they build a bridge between design and science to develop research-based concepts focused on our instinctual response to the natural world and on the sense of well-being in our built environment.
Since 2018, the Lesjaks have been working closely with Prof. Richard Taylor from Fractals Research and the University of Oregon through their collaborative ScienceDesignLab, which includes a broad portfolio of scientific publications as well as architectural, interior, and product applications.
Our projects include flooring collections for Mohawk Group – Fractal Findings, the most recent; Renaturation, our first wallcovering portfolio, debuted at NeoCon 2025 for Momentum Textiles & Wallcovering; and the Fractal Chapel, a contemplative architectural space at State Hospital Graz, which has just received the 2025 IIDA Best of Competition Award.
