BIOPHILIC DESIGN AT VERBUND AG
In their recently finished space planning and interior design project for the new VERBUND AG office in Vienna, INNOCAD architecture and 13&9 Design combined their knowledge of biophilic design for office spaces, which has been continuously developed over recent years through a transdisciplinary collaboration with scientists and experts. A variety of biophilic interventions, such as natural materials with different textures and color gradients, as well as the choice of lighting, enhance the natural ambiance and positively impact the well-being of employees.
We would like to thank our manufacturing partner, Mohawk Group, for providing Relaxing Floors, BuzziSpace for their BuzziBalance and their suspended acoustic element BuzziPleat. Beyond that, we want to thank XTEC for the “Spine,” a custom-made, multifunctional grid-furniture that serves as a room filter along the access zone and allows for various general uses.
