BEST OF THE BEST AWARD WINNER BY INTERIOR DESIGN MAGAZINE
Congratulations to our transdisciplinary team for this deeply meaningful recognition at the 2025 Best of Year Awards Ceremony, held on November 11 in New York and presented by Interior Design magazine.
As part of the program’s 20th anniversary, Interior Design magazine introduced a special “Best of the Best” award to celebrate the most iconic products and projects of the past two decades – and the History Museum Graz has been named winner in the “Exhibition” category of this commemorative award.
Originally awarded in 2018 in the category “Small Museum/Art Gallery,” the project has been recognized once again for its lasting cultural relevance and its distinctive approach to reinterpreting a historic landmark through contemporary exhibition design.
Presented by Editor-in-Chief Cindy Allen in New York, the ceremony brought together the international design community and highlighted the breadth of work that has shaped the past two decades.
The permanent exhibition trilogy at the History Museum Graz transforms the historic Palais Herberstein into a layered exhibition landscape, combining a two-part Schaudepot for 2,000 artifacts with the exhibition 100 x Steiermark, reflecting 1,000 years of regional history through contemporary exhibition design.
Our sincere thanks go to Cindy Allen and the Interior Design magazine team for celebrating visionary work worldwide and for honoring one of our most meaningful cultural projects with this special anniversary distinction. Congratulations to INNOCAD architecture, our collaborators, and the client at the History Museum in Graz.
