BELIEVE IN BETTER AWARDS BY MOHAWK GROUP

Congratulations to the winners of the 2025 Believe in Better Awards by Mohawk Group, which were announced recently. The awards celebrate projects that have a positive social and environmental impact across different categories and are redefining what it means to design for people, places, and the planet. The trophy was designed by Harry Allen and crafted in ceramic in New York City by Greenwich House Pottery, representing Mohawk Group’s three pillars: design, innovation, and sustainability.

The first recognition goes to Gretna East High School by DLR Group, designed to support wellness, intuitive wayfinding, and meaningful human interaction through biophilic design strategies.

The second goes to Cincinnati Public Radio by Emersion Design LLC, which gives back to nature through its pioneering use of mass timber construction, significantly reducing embodied carbon while supporting responsible forestry.

We are thrilled that two of the four winning projects featuring our Relaxing Floors collection were created in collaboration with Fractals Research for Mohawk Group. We would also like to thank our product development team, as well as our long-term partners, for their contributions.
