ARCHITECT@WORK WITH XAL RECAP
Thanks to XAL for an inspiring Architect@Work fair in Graz! Last week’s fair gave us the opportunity to exchange ideas with architects, lighting planners, and designers while discovering the latest in lighting and acoustics.
The booth, designed by INNOCAD architecture, showcased the symbiosis of light and acoustics, with FRACTAL CODE taking center stage. This large-scale acoustic wall panel by XAL’s acoustic brand xilence integrates advanced sound performance with fractal patterns developed by 13&9 Design in collaboration with Prof. Richard Taylor from Fractals Research and the University of Oregon.
Another highlight was SOUNDCATCHER, our recently developed acoustic luminaire that unites glare-free lighting with effective sound absorption. Its modular forms – round, square, or octagonal – allow flexible applications, while the recycled PET felt construction adds a sustainable dimension to its sculptural presence. Following Graz, the fair continues in Hamburg and Düsseldorf, where XAL presented further innovations.
