ANASTASIJA LESJAK INCLUDED IN INDUSTRY VISIONARIES

We are truly honored that 13&9 Design’s co-founder and lead, Dr. med. Anastasija Lesjak, has been announced as one of 13 “Industry Visionaries” by Delve magazine in the USA. For August 2025, the magazine interviewed trailblazers who are redefining what’s possible in our industry – from pioneering sustainable practices to pushing the boundaries of technology and aesthetics.

As co-founder of ScienceDesignLab and collaborator at INNOCAD architecture, Anastasija was interviewed about her innovative practice, multidisciplinary career, and the continuous research behind her concepts.

“I would address my versatile background and expertise as the origin of my multidisciplinary career. When designing, researching, or developing, I seek to extend existing knowledge and combine it with new ideas and fields. I call it a collaborative and open approach – like a platform – where artists, design collaborators, scientists, and clients join “common ground. “After graduating in 2012 from the Medical University of Graz, I combined design and medical knowledge to co-found ScienceDesignLab with Prof. Richard Taylor and his psychology collaborators. We develop concepts applying neuroscience and psychology to reduce stress in healthcare, workplace, and educational environments.”
