INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF CONTEMPORARY JEWELRY IN VIENNA

GEOMETRIC COLLECTION JEWELRY will be exhibited during WIENER SCHMUCKTAGE from November 6th to 11th 2018 at EVA BLUT STORE in Kühfußgasse 2, 1010 Vienna. For the fourth time, around 160 national and international jewelry makers present their work at diverse locations during the festival across Vienna, accompanied by many events, lectures, tours and performances.

SCHMUCK.NACHT AND TOUR
During the opening evening SCHMUCK.NACHT on November 7th, the geometric jewelry will be introduced at the 13&9 exclusive tour “Tradition – Innovation” starting at 5.30pm in EVA BLUT STORE. Drawing upon influences from architecture and craft, these pieces reference the precise geometry of the ellipse and the hexagon – designed in CAD software, cut with CNC machine and carefully hand-polished.

DESIGNER BREAKFAST
At the designer breakfast on November 10th, the design process behind jewelry objects made of the architectural material Corian® will be explained by 13&9 designers under the theme “Jewelry – Design – Architecture” from 11am – 2pm at EVA BLUT STORE. The collection relies on design principles used in architecture to create a balanced relationship between surfaces and angles, resulting in subtle sculptural forms.
