Handcrafted in Austria, this unique light is defined by its green elements and aesthetic qualities that comprise its name, WOOD.The design highlights the texture,scent and structure of a piece of wood and offers a light source that creates a unique art object that combines high design with the functionalityof the latest lighting technology. Using the honeycomb and the sphere as the basis for the product’s design,WOOD also combines nature’s jarring differences, contrasting fluidity with sharp edges. The hexagonal wood body seamlessly showcases tulip veneer with perforated small rings and integrates energy-saving LEDs.

Passionate about materials and creating products, 29-year-old carpenter Ewald hails from our manufacturing partner XTEC. His design for WOOD LIGHT, amply reflects this passion. The CNC cut plywood and veneer pieces are glued together by hand and the surface features natural oils for the finish. LED components are provided by XAL Lighting Company.
